My first quality realism Gaia commision. I'm still thinking about the skirt cause it just isn't doing it for me. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I can improve it, please let me know.
It's not great realism, butI'm new to this business, and I am trying. I worked on this for a long time today off and on between 3 and 10. Any suggestions will be great to use on the next ones and if its blatent enough an error I'll fix it on this one. Realistic faces are going to take me ages to get the hang of, but thats what pictures and other artists on DA are for. I didn't really use reference pictures, but I did browse through ~peachysticks gallery a lot, mainly just to check and see if I was doing something blatently wrong, and because she just has a great gallery. |

It does look kind of blurry. That's thing I hate most: how do those artists make everything look so sharp?! I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT.
maybe I will...After I'm done with the other commision for the same person...and maybe the seven figure+background quality realism I get to do after that one....x.x
Anyways. Thank you for the suggestion, and the compliments! And I totally agree with you on wondering how in the world some of the artists on here do it. (Seriously, if you take a peek at ~peachysticks acount, I'm sure you'll be floored. She's like, my DA idol.)
i love the colours, so very rich and warm and vibrant!
